ABOUT AC PEDIATRIC DENTISTRY

Taking a child to the dentist can be a tiring, embarrassing and frustrating experience. At AC Pediatric Dentistry, we understand this, and that’s why we want to make the experience pleasant and fun for your child.

INSURANCE

Our office is committed to helping you maximize your insurance benefits. Because insurance policies vary, we can only estimate your coverage in good faith but cannot guarantee coverage due to the complexities of insurance contracts.

APPOINTMENTS

We try our best to accommodate our patients as much as possible when scheduling appointments. We have found that children with extensive dental work or preschool children are better to be seen early in the morning when they are fresher and can have a more positive experience.

Dr. Ania Cabrerizo

Dr. Cabrerizo is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry who has extensive experience providing dental care for children, teens and special needs patients. She received her Doctorate degree in Dentistry from the University of Pennsylvania, and completed her residency in pediatric dentistry at Nova Southeastern University and Nicklaus Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Cabrerizo has professional affiliations with the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Currently, she is in private practice and on staff at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital and Nicklaus Children’s Hospital.

Originally from Havana, Cuba, Dr. Cabrerizo is dedicated to making sure that every patient has the best experience possible. She strives to deliver quality, compassionate dental care.

Dr. Amarfis García

Dr. Garcia graduated from dental school at the University Iberoamericana in Santo Domingo. She completed her specialty in pediatric dentistry and a Master’s degree in Dental Science at the University of Puerto Rico in San Juan, PR.

Dr. Garcia is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Florida Academy of Pediatric Dentistry

Presently, Dr. Garcia is in private practice and on the staff at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital & Miami Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Tejeda graduated from dental school at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, NJ. Thereafter, she completed her specialty in pediatric dentistry at Lutheran Medical Center, Level 1 Trauma Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Dr. Tejeda is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and a member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Hilma Rodriguez

Dr.Rodriguez received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2013 at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco,California.

Thereafter,she completed her residency in pediatric dentistry at Miami Children Hospital.During dental school, she received the Lasky Family Endowment Pediatric award and the Drs. Charles, Jr. and Joe Sweet Excellence in Pediatric Dentistry award.

She is board eligible and a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Florida Dental Association, American Dental Association, the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, the Tau Kappa Omega Honor Society & Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society.

Dr. Penelope Reingowsky

Dr. Reingowsky graduated from dental school at the University of Pennsylvania. She completed Advanced Education in General Dentistry training at the University of Florida and Mount Sinai Medical Center. Thereafter, she completed her specialty in orthodontics at Nova Southeastern University.

Dr. Reingowsky is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Florida Association of Orthodontists and South Florida Association of Orthodontics.

Dr. Causey Lee

Dr. Lee received his Doctorate degree in Dentistry from Emory University. He then completed advanced training in orthodontics.

Dr. Lee is a member of the American Dental Association, South Florida Academy of Orthodontists, American Association of Orthodontists, Florida Association of Orthodontists, and the Southern Association of Orthodontists. He regularly attends continuing education courses.

Dr. Lee strives to deliver the best care using advanced procedures and technology.

Dr. José R. Mellado

Dr. Mellado received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Puerto Rico. He completed his periodontology certification at Temple University, where he also received a Master’s degree in Oral Biology. Dr. Mellado is a Fellow of the American College of Dentistry and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. He is a Diplomate of American Board of Periodontology.

Dr. Mellado has presented numerous lectures. His articles on periodontal care have been featured in a variety of journals. He is a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Honor Society and several professional organizations, inculding the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental Association, the Northeastern Society of Periodontists, the Academy of Osseronitergration and the Folorida Dental Association.
